Ask a Librarian

In Person: Speak with a librarian in person at the Reference Desk during library hours.

Live Chat: Speak with a librarian using our virtual reference service (only available during open hours at the library):

Text a Reference Librarian at:

(562) 888-3938   Immediate response available during library business hours. After hours, we will respond upon next opening of Library Reference.

Instant Messenger: If you'd like to chat with us directly during business hours from your own Instant Messenger client or Google Talk account, add LbccLibrary to your Google Chat contacts.

Email:  A LBCC reference librarian will generally respond via e-mail within one business day. Use the same user name and password that you use when logging in to the LBCC network.
