Yes, the Library is a wireless hotzone. The wifi network is available to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. 

If you are a student at Long Beach City College, complete these steps to connect to Wi-FI if you are using a MAC:

  1. On the menu bar at the top of the screen, locate the Wi-Fi symbol.
  2. Click on the Wi-Fi symbol to see the list of networks available.
  3. Select the network you wish to connect to.

If the Wi-Fi network is secure, you may be redirected to a webpage to enter more information, such as your username and password. For guest network access, look for an open network with 'guest' in the title. You may need to contact the and request a guest account.

If you are using a PC, please follow these steps:

  1. On the taskbar in the lower right-hand corner of your screen, locate the Wi-Fi symbol.
  2. Click on the Wi-Fi Symbol to see the list of networks available.
